Heads of States from all over the world joined Malawians in sending well wishing birthday messages to Malawi’s Former President Dr Joyce Banda who celebrated her special day yesterday.

The birthday celebrations were graced by Zambia Former President Keneth Kaunda who was in the company of other African leaders to cheer up Dr Joyce Banda.
Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda celebrated her birthday yesterday on 12th Aptil 2015. Earlier during that day she received well wishing messages from Barak Obama, Bill Clinton and the British Royal family congratulating her for the meaningful contributions she has made in the lives of many people.

The birthday celebrations were also attended by former heads of states including Thabo Mbeki former South African president, Joachim Chissano, former Mozambique president, Keneth Kaunda the former Zambian leader.

Banthu Times posted a birthday wishes message for Dr Joyce Banda in which attracted more than one thousand likes for Dr Joyce Banda others describing Dr Joyce Banda as, “you are the mother of us all, we wish you long life and God protection from any evil.”

Joyce Banda is highly ranked amongst world’s most powerful women as she continues to inspire people all over the world with messages of hope and fighting for the rights of marginalised people in African societies.

In less than three weeks of taking over a country that was broke with no fuel and forex she turned the situation around and the economy began to grow. Last year Malawi experienced bumper yields and great income from agricultural produce all due to her visionary leadership hence she is adored by many locally and internationally.
